Getting Started …How It Works

Great! Setting up your pet sitting service with Kitty Love Pet Sitting is simple. Upon contacting us, we will guide you through our New Client process.

You will be relieved to know you have a professional and reliable pet sitter to care for your cat (affectionately known as your fur baby!).

Steps to Becoming a Kitty Love Pet Sitting Client

1. Initial Contact 

We make it easy for you to contact us via phone or contact form. We will get back to you as soon as possible, but within 24 hours in most cases (on weekends or holidays we will get back to you no later than the next business day).

We begin by learning more about your pet(s) and your specific needs, how we can best serve you, and answer any questions you may have. A lot of information about our Policies, Services, Pricing, can be found on our website.

2. Schedule an In-Person  Meet and Gree

After we’ve discussed your service needs via phone, it’s time to set up a required Face-to-Whiskers “Meet and Greet” client Registration before you leave town.

Please Note: due to the time driven nature of our schedules, we may be unable to accommodate same-day or next-day meeting and/or sit requests for new clients. Since we do not overbook our sitters, reservations are strictly on a first-come first-served basis. Thank you for your understanding; your respect for our time is greatly appreciated. 

3. Paperwork

Required paperwork (New Client packet) is emailed to you in advance of the Meet and Greet Consultation for you to complete.

4. Meet and Greet

Our Face-to-Whiskers “Meet and Greet” is designed for your kitty to get familiar and comfortable with their new best friend who will be coming to visit when you’re away. Also during this meeting:

  • We will tour your entire home showing us where we can find necessary items (food, litter, water dishes, cleaning supplies) as well as your kitty’s favorites (toys, napping spots, hiding places, etc.).
  • We will have you show us feedings, medications, alarm systems, and any other routines.
  • We will review your New Client Packet (emailed to you to complete prior to this meeting) to ensure we have covered everything and are confident we know everything to take exceptional care of your kitty.
  • We will then collect 2 copies of keys to your home, service agreement and other paperwork and payment for services.

5. Reservations Are Confirmed

Your reservations will be secured in our online scheduling system and you will receive a copy of this via email. We request that you review it for accuracy so no stones are left unturned.

6. While You’re Away

We’ll take care of things from here! Our responsibility begins the moment you leave on your trip and doesn’t end until you call to let us know you are home. Now it’s time for us to shine and for you to enjoy the peace of mind Kitty Love provides!

We will send occasional communications with a photo because even though you have full trust all is going well, we know you will still miss your kitty!

7. Check In Service

When you return home, we ask that you use our Check In Service to let us know you arrived safe and sound and that your kitties are now back in your care. We like peace of mind too knowing your pet is back in good hands. ;0) Check in with us via phone or email.

8. We Look Forward to Next Time!

We’re here for you for your next trip. You may schedule your services using our Client Services area for existing clients.
